We're seeking a visionary Senior Art Director to lead creative projects that push the boundaries of what's possible in digital content creation. This is an opportunity to shape the future of creative production while working with prestigious global brands.
Project Scope
- Duration: Minimum 1 month with (option to extend)
Work arrangement: Flexible freelance (3-5 days/week) - Location: Cape Town office
- Collaboration: Daily communication with Netherlands HQ via video & Slack.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead visual direction from concept to execution
- Develop comprehensive moodboards and client presentations
- Create and oversee hands-on image creation
- Guide and mentor creative teams across local and remote locations
- Set and maintain visual standards for client work
- Drive creative excellence across multiple concurrent projects
- Collaborate with Bloom/client Creative Directors
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in leading visual projects
- Keen interest in Gen-AI tools (Mid Journey, Leonard etc)
- Advanced digital design skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate client briefs into compelling visual solutions
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Bonus Skills
- Experience with AI tools and generative technology
Stable Diffusion/ Comfy UI - Background working with fashion, lifestyle & consumer goods brands
- R&D project experience with flexible scopes
- Pitch presentation experience
- Experience managing international creative teams
